Misting significantly increases the efficiency of cooling towers.
Misting reduces the temperature entering the air condensers by 7 to 10°C depending on outside temperatures and contributes to a significant reduction in energy consumption.
Adiabatic misting
Adiabatic misting cooling systems provide undeniable cooling benefits and energy savings during periods of intense heat.
The evaporative cooling technique allows the hot, dry air entering the system to be cooled: the water molecules gradually turn into vapor, thus causing, through evaporation, a decrease in air temperature.
This solution improves the efficiency of existing cooling equipment such as ventilation units, cooling towers, etc.
However, this technique requires precise control of the pressure used to ensure that the droplets are homogeneous and exceptionally fine. Our technicians and engineering department recommend a customized study based on the specific parameters of your installation.
Energy savings
In the current situation, energy savings have become a priority not only from an economic standpoint but also in terms of environmental protection:
In climate engineering, for example, the efficiency of ventilation units decreases from 35°C onwards, the temperature at which these units become essential! High-pressure misting becomes an alternative and/or complementary solution to air conditioning.
